Silverton Small Lot Subdivision

The proposed design borrows elements from Spanish Colonial architecture, like the terracotta tiled roofs and the arched windows creating a modern take through the use of single sloped roofs, shifting floor plates and open floor planning.

The Silverton Small lot is a subdivision development project aimed at maximizing the lot, providing 3 new structures and a total of 6 new units, while preserving the main house and the current tenants. Each new structure is composed of a single-family home and an accessory dwelling unit also known as a ADU.

The single-family home is a 3 bedroom and 3 ½ bathroom with a two car garage and the ADU has a full kitchen with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. Nefer Fernandez, as reform collective’s Studio Director, was part of the architecture team that executed the design.
